Indications

Trintellix is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults. 

Dosage and Administration

• Take Trintellix exactly as prescribed by your doctor.

• Be cautious if you’re taking aspirin, NSAIDs, other antiplatelet drugs, warfarin, or any other medications that affect blood clotting, as there is an increased risk of bleeding.
• Make sure to get screened for bipolar disorder before starting Trintellix to avoid the activation of mania or hypomania.
• Angle closure glaucoma can occur if you have untreated anatomically narrow angles and start taking antidepressants.
• Hyponatremia can happen due to the syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone secretion (SIADH).
