Indications
Emadine eye drops are used to relieve symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis, such as itching and redness of the eyes.
Ingredients
- Active Ingredient: Emedastine difumarate
- Inactive Ingredients: Benzalkonium chloride, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate dibasic dodecahydrate, sodium phosphate monobasic monohydrate, and purified water.
Dosage and Administration
- Wash your hands before using Emadine eye drops.
- Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket.
- Hold the dropper directly over your eye and place one drop into the affected eye(s), usually twice daily or as directed by your doctor.
- After applying the drops, gently press your finger to the corner of your eye (near the nose) for about 1 minute to prevent the medication from draining into your tear duct.
- Replace the cap on the bottle immediately after use to prevent contamination.
- Use the medication regularly to get the most benefit.
- Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface to avoid contamination.
- Do not wear contact lenses while using Emadine eye drops. Wait at least 10 minutes before reinserting lenses.
