Why are Prescription Point's Canadian
prescription prices so low?
Medications in Canada are regulated by the government. The government
sets price caps on medications and subsequent price increases.
Also, direct-to-consumer advertising is banned in Canada, which
lowers the advertising budget for many of the top-selling drugs.

Why are Prescription Point's US generic
drug prices so low?
Generic drugs in the United States are typically 20%-90% less
expensive than their brand counterparts. Since there are many
generic drug manufacturers in the United States, they compete
on price, which drives down the overall cost of generic drugs
for every year they are on the market.
A recent study has shown that many US generic drugs are less
expensive than Canadian generic drugs when available.
Any US generic drug ordered has a small shipping fee associated
(per package, not per drug) in order to keep costs low.

How much will I save?
Most customers will save between 30%-90% on their medications.
This can turn out to be hundreds to thousands of dollars in savings
over the course of one year.

Are generics substituted for
brand names without a request from the doctor?
After placing your order, we contact you regarding the prescriptions
you have sent us and will let you know where you can save more
money if there is a generic available. We must fill your medications
as they are written only if your physician indicates "DISPENSE
AS WRITTEN" or "MEDICALLY NECESSARY".
If you would not like to order generic drugs, you can simply
let us know, either on the forms you submit or verbally over the
phone. Your prescriptions are then checked by our licensed pharmacists.
If there are any questions regarding your prescription, they will
contact you or your doctor directly.

I wasn't able to find my medication by
searching your web site, does that mean it is not available?
No. If you are having difficulty finding your medications using
our web site, contact us toll-free at 1-800-794-8552 and one of
our skilled customer service representatives will help you find
all of your medications.

Is Prescription Point a pharmacy?
No. Prescription Point is a pharmacy intermediary.
Your prescriptions will be filled at one of the pharmacies located
at the bottom of all of our web site pages, depending on your
location and preferences. All medications are mailed directly
from our pharmacies directly to your home.

Do you dispense controlled substances?
No. We do not dispense controlled substances from any of our
pharmacies.

Your prices look great, but what other
fees apply?
Our prices are all inclusive, they represent the cost of the
medication, the physician review, the pharmacy dispensing charge
and the shipping & handling for all Canadian and International
medications.
For medications shipping from our US pharmacy, a nominal shipping
fee of $5.99 is charged. We charge a small shipping fee in order
to keep the overall cost of medications from the United States
as low a possible.
